Bowling

Saturday, January 14th...

We went bowling for James Hillesheim's 30th birthday. Our group used 6 lanes... just family from both sides! It was Jared's first time and he loved it. Kristin (Mrs. Hillesheim to the kids ;)) had us play the first game with crazy rules... bowl with the opposite hand, stand on one foot, between the legs, backwards (football hike), etc. It was a lot of fun and it was hilarious to watch everyone bowling goofy.

The Three Amigos...

Strike a pose...

Grandpa Roger bowling on one foot...

Getting ready to push the ball with a pole...

Jeremy and Chelsey...

This one was a little scary! Jesse bowling between Keith's legs...

The kids had their own lane with bumpers...

Technical Difficulties

Sorry for the lack of updates lately. My computer's motherboard fried so I haven't been able to upload and edit pictures since the beginning of the year. My last couple of posts have been with cell phone pics. We haven't decided if we are going to fix my computer or get a new one. I know what I want to do but my other half doesn't seem to agree. ;) I have been using Keith's laptop and am realizing how much I miss my MacBook Pro. :'( I have lots of posts coming so check back often!

Best Buds

Sunday, January 7th...

Jared had his buddy, Brendon, over for the afternoon. They had a great time playing with everything possible... toys, video games, etc. Of course, they waited until sunset to go outside and do a little golfing.
As you can see, there was no snow on the ground
and the weather was mild so they had a great time.

St. George Christmas Program

Sunday, January 7th...

Our church had the children's Christmas program on Epiphany Sunday (the 12th day after Christmas). It's the celebration of the visit of the three wise men to the Christ Child. A little fun fact I had to throw in there. ;) All of the Beranek cousins (that were old enough) participated.

Lily, Ava and Alec were horses in the stable...

Jared was hump #2 in the Camel...

All of the children and the choir...

Brianna and Emily were Angels...

After church we went over to the school for a potluck lunch and a visit from the Three Wise Men.
They brought treat bags for all of the children...
