SOOO much has been going on!
The exterior of the house is pretty much done and looking great! All we need is gutters... not sure when that's gonna get done. We still have to finish staining and varnishing the interior of the windows and trim. It's just been too hot out to want to tackle a job like that.
Keith went on his annual fishing trip with the guys... Mark, Matt and Jay Hagberg, Leon Portner, and Craig Anderson. They stayed at a cabin on Round Lake and the fishing was excellent! He even brought some Walleye home but we have yet to fry it up.
My adorable neice, Ashlyn Harper Loula, was born on July 9th!
My women's softball leauge in Courtland has completed the season win-less... but I do have to say that we have been playing very well. We just struggle with getting the runners in once they're on base. Tonight is out first playoff game... double elimination so we'll have two more games for sure.
The vegetable garden is AMAZING! Some of my tomato plants are taller than me!!! Keith can't wait until it's time to make salsa. He calls it B&B Salsa (Beranek & Bohlmann). I have to admit that I'm looking forward to it too. Keith volunteered to be on clean-up duty so I can't wait to see his face when he realizes how messy it gets! =)
This past weekend was another busy weekend. St. George had their 150th Celebration. Keith was very busy helping with the Threshing Bee and setting up. We had a wonderful day... long... but it was great! Roger had the "D" working hard running the threshing machine. And Keith's "A" was all shined up and on display.
