3rd and 4th Birthday Party

May 31st...

We had to wait until field work was done to have the girls' birthday party. They didn't seem to mind... a party is a party! It was a little windy but we had a very nice evening for it. Thank you to all of the family that came over to help us celebrate. We have two very lucky little girls. Also, thank you to Auntie Krytal for taking pictures. It sure does make my life a little easier with all of the chaos fun going on. :)

Yummy cake from Walmart

They each had their own little princess cake.

Morgan waiting patiently for some cake.

I had to give her a taste first ;)

Trying on their aprons that Great Grandma Lappe made...

I think Kaelyn liked the cake ;)

Studying their remote control Barbie car from the Loulas. They loved it!

Teamwork! :)

Love Chloe's reaction. She had no clue what it was yet
but it was a big box so it must be something good! ;)

"A helmet like Jared's!"

Now they just need their own 4 wheelers! Ha! ;)

Daddy and Uncle Craig bringing in the doll house.

Keith built it and I painted. Lots and lots of work
but the girls LOVE it so it was all worth it!

Family picture!
Everyone is looking! Yay!

Staying Warm

May 27th...
It was overcast and windy so the girls were chilly. I only had Jared's jacket
on the 4 wheeler so I told them to cuddle up and this was the result...

Nice and toasty!

Planting Flowers

May 25th...

United Prairie Bank invited the kids to Hacker's Greenhouse to plant kid-sized flower pots. I took the girls and we had fun learning about different kinds of flowers.

Jared's Summer Hair Do

June 2nd...

Jared has been wanting to get a buzz cut for a while now so Laura volunteered to come over and do it for him. It was pretty fun to watch. He even had a mohawk for a few minutes (long enough to get a few pictures of it). He LOVES it!!! Now his head feels like a teddy bear... super soft and fuzzy. I'm hoping to talk him into growing it back out for school but we'll see.  ;)

Sprinkler!

May 14th...

The temperature hit 100° so the kids put on their swim suits immediately when we got home. It was HOT!!! I got a new sprinkler for Mother's Day so we had to try it out. Worked great!
Every time his head popped over the top he'd say, "take a picture of me!"

Love how she sticks her tongue out like she's on a mission.

Happy girl!

She stuck the landing! Ha! ;)

Chloe's 4 year pictures

April 28th...

I took Chloe's pictures after church when we got to the farm. It was a little windy but we got some nice shots. The tire swing ones are my favorite. Her cousin, Lily, was behind me making her giggle.

Flower Shopping

May 11th...

The girls and I went to Babe's Blossoms with Grandma Deb. It is an amazing green house and it's definitely worth the drive. They have a big chalk board for kids to play with and the girls had fun with that. The owner approached Chloe when I was checking out and asked her what her favorite color was. "Purple!" (of course!) So, he took her outside to pick out her own pack of purple Pansy Flowers. How nice! Then Morgan walked up and she got to pick out some orange ones. Love that place! :)
Showing off their flowers...

Good thing I brought some shelves. We had a full load!
