Emily Elisabeth

I got to meet my new cousin, Emily Elisbeth Ubl, last night. She was born on July 1st to my aunt Sue (Kral) and her hubby, Chad. In case you're wondering... Sue is only 3 years older than me. We figured that there is about 34 years between the oldest and youngest Kral grandchildren. Kinda crazy!

She's teeny-tiny... especially next to Morgan!!! She was the same size as Chloe at birth (7lbs. 3oz). They are about 8 weeks apart and she's also #3 after big brother Andrew and big sister Katelyn. She looks like a little of both of them with those big eyes!

Congrats to the Ubls... she's a keeper! =)

Fun in the Tub!

Morgan LOVES bath time. She kicks and splashes like crazy! We started with her laying on the big yellow sponge but she wasn't able to move much. Then I cut the sponge so it just held her head above water but she'd wiggle herself off of that so now she's free to splash like a fish.

I just love her big grins!!!

Potty Chair

We got the potty chair out the other day. Chloe has been showing signs that she is realizing when she's going so they say to introduce the potty chair. It's Grandpa Roger's chair from when he was a little boy so it's definitely an antique but it does the job. Keith might sand it and paint it white since it's a little tattered. The first time I set her on it her little butt went right down into the hole! Now I prop her hands on the armrests so she can hold herself up. We only do it right before bath time. I had to share this cute pic... I'm sure she'll thank me one day! ;)

T-Ball

July 29th...

It was the last night of T-Ball for this year. The kids have really improved since the first night. Jared says he can "hit like Joe Mauer!" and he really does quite well. A little less whacking the T and more on the ball! ;)

2 Month Check-Up

July 8th...

I almost forgot to post her stats!

She's doing really well and is following in her big brother's footsteps.

• 97% for weight (13 lbs.)
• 94% for height
• 94% for head circumference

I have to dig out their stats at those ages to compare.

I think Jared hit 20 pounds around 4 or 5 months.

Chloe is definitely a farm girl. She has to be outside whenever possible and she LOVES to do chores with Keith. We have 20 calves at our place and they get fed milk twice a day. She'll have a meltdown if he leaves on the 4-wheeler without her.

She giggles and makes funny faces when they suck on her hand.

Power Pull Nationals

July 16th...

Keith and I took Jared to Hutchinson for the Power Pull Nationals Friday night. We got there early enough to tour the pits and see all of the pullers. It was amazing! We had a great time. I got a ton of it on video so Jared can enjoy it over and over and over. I'll have a YouTube video to share soon.

We didn't get to see this one pull (they were pulling Saturday night) but take a look at all of those engines!

These 2 pulled. We underestimated the amount of noise they would make. The loudest by far! The grandstands were shaking! Awesome!!!

I got a much needed change of hair. Love it! So much more fun and easier to do. I had Jared take a picture of the girls... gotta love Morgan's big smile. =) Hard to believe they're 13 months apart.

Corn

July 5th...

Keith and Jared went over to the Helget farm (by Hanska) to spray weeds and check on the corn. Keith just about fell over when he saw how tall it was... and that it was already tassled! The crops around our place took a beating in the storms so it was nice to see that things were doing better across the river.

Keith is 6'1" so you get the idea...

4th of July

July 4th...

We celebrated at the LeGare's this year with a little backyard fish fry. It was delicious, as always! It was fun to get the kids together. Big or small, they all had something fun to do.
