Home Show

March 24th...

The girls and I went to the Home Show and they had a
blast checking out everything and getting lots of treats.


Chloe was a little ham with her pink crown on dancing in the aisles. Morgan said "Hi!" to almost everyone. It's finally getting a little easier for me to venture out with these 2 little spit-fires. Chloe listens very well and helps me keep an eye on Morgan since she still likes to make a mad dash whenever she gets the chance.

March 16th...

Lovin' this weather!

March 16th...

The weather has been absolutely amazing. And it's not even Spring yet!

The kids want to play outside as much as possible so I had to share a shot of all 3 of them on the Gator. Jared is WAY too big for it but he can't resist anything motorized. He asks every day if he can drive the 4-wheeler. Lord, help me!

50mm = Love!

I ordered a 50mm f/1.8 lense for my camera so I had to share a few shots to show how much your pictures change with one little lens. It creates background blur (bokeh) and takes photos to the next level. Love it!

Crash

February 24th...

Keith was awakened by a loud bang around 4am. He looked out the windows... didn't see anything so he went back to bed. Then he got up at 5am to go to the farm to do chores and when he got on the road he saw something out in the field in front of our place. It was a car on its hood. Scary! He ran out to see if anyone injured (or worse) but there was no one to be found. He called the Sherriff and they came to investigate.

The kids were excited to see a police car on the road...

Once it got lighter, I went out and took pictures...

Jared was dressed and out the door 15 minutes early.
He just had to get out there and check out the action.
The black thing in the ditch is our mailbox...

The loud bang that Keith heard was our mailbox and 6×6 solid wood post being hit at high speed.
It ripped part of the guy's bumper off.

The tow truck showed up right before I left for work...

The ditch was littered with parts from the car.
You can see the path of the car... barely missed the power pole.

The view from the other end. The roads had a little snow on them but they weren't that slippery. Just another case of careless driving. Thankfully, no one was injured.

February 18th...

It was a beautiful day for a Gator ride!

New Dresses

I bought the girls matching dresses at Target. Couldn't pass up the deals on the clearance rack. ;) When I got home and showed them, they had to put them on right away and dance around. They are really into dresses lately so this was quite the treat!

Catholic Schools Week

January 30th...

Catholic Schools Week kicked off with the kids wearing crazy clothes and wacky hair on Monday.

Jared loves the vest and tie that he wore for Jesse & Katie's wedding so he picked that right away. Can you tell it's a little small? Their wedding was almost 2 years ago! Ha. I added the gym shorts over the jeans to give it the 'crazy' look and spiked his hair. Fun!

On Wednesday they got to spend the day with a senior. 

They had lunch together and walked together in the processional at Mass.

Bock Fest 2012

February 18th...

Mom and I worked our 13th year in the food stand...

It was a beautiful day and we had a great time, as usual.

We ran into Schmez and the girls (my step-sister Stacy's friends) and did a shot of Bock...

Later that night I went downtown with Laura to watch the Blue Ringers at the old Thrifty White building. They put on a great show!

Brainerd Water Park Weekend

January 27th - 29th...

We went on our annual "friends" water park trip.
There were 11 families... 22 adults, 2 babysitters and 25 kiddos. Big group!

Hulkes had the cool room with a queen over king bunk bed...

Really like the fact that they let us bring our own floaties.
The girls spent most of their swimming time in them.
