July 11th...

I was mowing lawn and the kids were scattered around the yard
playing. I was watching Morgan on the Gator while I made the
rounds and noticed that she was sitting in one spot for a few minutes.
Just sitting there... kinda watching me. I thought she was stuck but
the wheels weren't spinning. The next thing I now she's slumped
over taking a little nap. Just like that! Done.

It's tough work being two!

Uhh-Ohh!

July 6th...

Morgan has been learning how to drive the Gator.
I was watering flowers in the front yard when a heard
a loud bang. I ran to the back yard and found this...

She hit the metal rain gutter and the rock at the same time so it
was kinda loud and she was just sitting there saying, "uhh-ohh!"
Now we just need to work on steering better and reverse! ;)

July 5th...

 Love, love, love it... enough said. ;)

The stuff we are growing in the garden isn't quite ready yet so I

bought some from a truck in town. I just about fell over when

the girl asked for $6.50. What??? Crazy! But, it was

definitely worth it. Absolutely delicious!

New Calves

July 5th...

We got 20 new calves on the 4th of July. The kids were SO excited!

Chloe is daddy's lil' helper when it comes to mixing the milk

She sure does love her moo-moos!

Morgan ususally takes a few days to warm up to the
calves so she wanted to look but not get too close. ;)

Boating on the 4th of July

July 4th...

We went out to Clear Lake by Gibbon with a bunch of the Beranek crew.
Craig and Shari brought their boat and Ryan and Chelsey brought his dad's boat.
It was another super hot day so the water felt great and we all had a good time.

We talked Jared into trying the knee board.

Shari held on to him to get him started. He did great until we told him to
grab the rope and he went under. "I'm never, ever doing that again!" Ha.

Brianna wanted to try it since Jared did.

quickly realized that she was just fine.  :)

Kamp Dels 2012

June 29th...

We went to Kamp Dels near Waterville, MN. We've been there before
and really liked it so we were excited to go back. It's also really nice that
it's fairly close to home. Long road trips are not very fun for any of us since
there isn't a DVD player in the truck. How did I ever survive my childhood
without one of those things?! Ha! It was super hot all weekend so the pool
and waterpark were very popular! We had a great time with 2 other families
and even ran into a few people that we knew that were also there camping.
I'll let the pictures tell the story...

July 1st...

And he didn't. She loved it!

A picnic lunch and then it was time to pack up and head home.

What a fun weekend with great friends! Can't wait for our next trip!!!
