Meeting Baby Leah

January 16th...

We took the kids over to finally meet baby Leah! The Hillesheim's brought out pizza and we had a good time hanging out. Leah didn't seem to mind all of the noise from the crazy kids... she might as well get used to all of those cousins right away! The girls were very interested in how she got out of Chelsey's belly. Not so sure how to answer that one so we just moved the conversation in another direction. ;)

Horsie Ride!

January 12th...

The girls and I met the LeGare ladies in Mankato to do a little shopping. When we got to the Mall they all wanted to ride the horsies (merry-go-round). I'm pretty sure this is the first time I've taken the girls to the Mall. It can be a bit of a challenge doing any sort of shopping with them but it worked out pretty well. Morgan was the biggest stinker in Hobby Lobby so it took 3x longer than it should've but we survived!

January 4th...

Keith gets the girls dressed in the morning. I usually have the clothes picked out ahead of time but this particular morning he got them this far and waited for me. I just had to snap a picture!

They can almost sleep through the whole getting dressed and hair brushing process. ;)

1st Dental Visit

January 3rd...

Chloe got to go in for her first dental check-up. She did great and wasn't shy at all. Dr. Brownfield said her teeth look great and she's been doing a good job of brushing. Morgan was with so she had to have him look at her teeth too. He took a quick peek and she was satisfied. They both got a new tooth brush so that was pretty cool! Chloe looks so little in that big chair!

January 1st...

Chloe cuddled up and fell asleep on my shoulder. Love those big eyelashes!

Rock 'n Roll!

January 20th...

Morgan is such a little ham sometimes. She crawled up on the coffee table, sat on her beauty shop chair and pretended to rock out. It was pretty comical!

Preschool Screening

January 16th...

I took Chloe to her Preschool Screening at my old middle school. It was like going back in time... not much has changed in the last 2 decades. It was fun to hang out, just the two of us (doesn't happen often!). She did great with all of the testing and 'passed' with flying colors. She is officially ready to start school!

January 5th...

My cousin, Holly, came home from Iowa so we went over to Lois & Daryl's to visit. She posted this cute pic on Facebook so I just had to share it. ;)

Baby Leah

January 14th...

Chelsey and Ryan had a baby girl!

Born on Sunday, January 13th at 11:41am

8 pounds 6.5 ounces 21.5" long

She is #14 for the Beranek crew (all in less than 9 years!). I went to see her on my lunch break and got to sneak this picture while they were trying to wake her up to get her to eat. You can't really see the mohawk but she has lots of dark hair. What a little honey! Due to the flu outbreak children aren't allowed to visit at the hospital so all of her cousins are very anxious to meet her in person. Chloe and Morgan are SUPER excited to hold her. It's been almost a year since Claire was born so it's been a while. Ha!

Church Christmas Program

January 6th...

Our church put on a Christmas program on Epiphany Sunday. The children got to dress up as characters in the nativity scene and the adult choir sang. There was a narrator so the kids didn't have any lines. It's always fun to watch. All 3 of our kids were in it this year. They ususally have 3 to 10 year-olds but as soon as Morgan saw Chloe's angel costume at the first practice she just had to have one too! I was a little worried about her sitting still up there in front of everyone but she did great! They all did!

December 31st...

Where's Waldo Chloe?!

This silly girl just cracks me up! She tucked her arms in the stockings and couldn't see anyone so she assumed we couldn't see her. ;) Love that little peanut and her imagination.

Merry Christmas!

December 25th...

Christmas Day! We got to spend the whole day at home. It was nice to relax and just hang out. I only took a few pictures... really was a lazy day! ;) Santa filled our living room with lots of presents the night before so we enjoyed opening everything and then assembling / setting up / playing with all of it.

December 24th...

What a fun night!!! The kids stayed up late but they were having such a good time with everyone. When we got home, Santa had already stopped so that was more excitement for everyone! Merry Christmas!

December 15th...

We went to Wally and Donna's house for the annual daycare Christmas party.
