February 15th - 17th...
We went South this year for our annual water park vacation to
Bridges Bay Resort in Okoboji, IA. It was less than 2 hours away so it was a nice drive with the kids. Once we pass the 2 hour mark they tend to get a little squirrely. ;) We had four families this year so it was a small group but we still had a great time! The rooms were really nice. They're actually called condos because up to 3 bedrooms connect to a main living area. Full kitchen, dining table and living room with a sleeper sofa. Even a fireplace and patio off of each room! Much nicer than staying in a regular hotel room. I took a few pictures... like 189. Ha! We'd definitely recommend it and will have to go back again. We actually talked about camping down there during the summer. Arnold's Park (amusement park on the lake) looks like it would be fun for the kiddos!

Kids under 12 aren't allowed in the hot tub but they snuck in
for a few minutes to warm up cuz they saw Daddy in there.

People always ask if the girls are twins... their legs are
the same length but Chloe really is a few inches taller! |

The "blue slide" was the girls' favorite... by far! They were scared at first and had to go down with mom or dad but once they figured out it was safe and fun it was all they did. Over and over and over!

Jared wanted to race Keith down the slides. Jared came out of the body slide first. Keith came out backwards and flipped over. Love the fact that I caught it with the camera!
