Pumkin Fest 2008

We had the annual "Pumpkin Fest" today at our place. The whole Beranek crew came over and picked most of our pumpkin patch. There a quite a few that need to ripen yet so we'll have even more in a few weeks!

Announcing...

We finally got to share our exciting news with family and friends... Jared is going to be a big brother!!! 

As of last Friday, I am 11 weeks pregnant. Due date is April 7th-ish. 

I had an ultrasound at almost 7 weeks to make sure that everything was okay. Doctor Jorve said that everything looked good. The tiny little heartbeat was fluttering at 135 beats per minute... perfect!

I'm finally over feeling queasy all day long and having extreme sensitivity to smells. Other than that, it's been going pretty well! Next OB appt. is October 3rd. Can't wait to hear that little heartbeat!

Jared says "It's gonna be a girl... no, a boy! And he's gonna be just like me!" Too cute! =) We haven't decided if that's a good thing or double trouble!! :)

JD 4440

Keith and Jared got the 4440 and the chisel plow out to get ready for fall harvest. 

Roger and Patty gave Keith the new step kit so we had to take a few pictures.

Emily's Birthday Party

We went to Emily's 2nd Birthday Party tonight. We attempted to get a picture of all 6 grandkids... this is the best one... they're all sort of looking and no funny faces. Quite the crew!

Fly-In Breakfast

We went to the annual Fly-In Breakfast this morning with Mom & Jim. It was overcast and cold (50 degrees) and windy. So that wasn't so great but the pancakes were good and we got to see a lot of small airplanes and a few helicopters. Jared got to sit in a NUPD squad car. Myron Wieland showed him how to turn on the light bar... Jared was in awe!
