Sesame Street Live!

1/20/2010... Jared and I went to Sesame Street Live! with Krystal and Ashlyn. Jared thought it was pretty neat but Ashlyn was like a little Elmo groupie! She bounced up and down on Krystal's lap for about an hour straight! =) The look on her face was too cute. Check out Krystal's blog for a video and more pics. My pictures didn't turn out that well. I was playing with settings since it was really dark in there but they just ended up blurry. You get the idea, though.

Christmas Evening

The boys were outside on the snowmobile so I took Chloe for her first sled ride. She wasn't really sure what to think of it. The snow was hard and crunchy and loud so she was trying to figure out what was going on. She really liked watching the boys and Dozer racing around the yard.

I want out!

This is how mommy gets chores done... works like a charm! And it balances out the growing belly in front. =)

Check-Ups

9 month health check... Chloe is long and lean, just like her daddy. Thank goodness! =) She only had to get the 2nd part of her flu vaccine so that wasn't too bad. She cries for a few seconds and then seems to forget all about it.

5 year health check... Jared has remained on the big and tall track since birth. He got 3 shots that he needs before going to Kindergarten next year. That did NOT go well. I had to bribe him with a trip to Target to pick out a treat just to stop the crying and screaming. I think it gets worse the older he gets. Thankfully, he won't need anymore shots until he's 11 (besides the annual flu shot).

Christmas Morning!

We woke up to lots and lots of snow Christmas morning. Jared was super excited. Keith wasn't too thrilled but they got to get the big blower out so that's always fun to play with.

Santa brought Jared and Chloe some new "wheels". Jared needs to grow a little to fit but that shouldn't be a problem. Chloe just loves getting pushed around by her big brother. I can just see them flying down the driveway this summer!

The snow was too heavy to push with the 4 wheeler...

So they had to finish with the big blower.

The trees looked so pretty!Keith's new toy... the plow... next will be a new 4 wheeler.

Chloe loves watching whats going on outside. She sat there forever!

Jared's 5th Birthday Party

12/13/2009... We had Jared's 5th birthday party at our house. It went well... as usual! Grandma Deb made the cake (per Jared's request). She did a great job! New this year was a pinata in the garage. I wish I would've video taped it cuz my pictures didn't turn out the best but it was entertaining.

This one was funny because the box was for a cooking pot and once he saw that he wasn't interested and was going to move on to the next gift. I had to convince him that it wasn't really what was in there. Good thing because it was his new snowmobile/4-wheeling helmet!

It was very tight... the kid has an enormous melon!

After gifts was the pinata. Everyone took a turn.

Luke made the breaking blow and Jared was devastated...So he took one last swing to knock out the

rest of the candy and everyone was happy again.

This is his second combine in his short lifetime.

He promises to take better care of this one... we'll see!

The helmet had to be exchanged but they were out of that kind.

He likes this one even better because it "looks like Dad's... but cooler".

Daddy was outside with the little snowblower. Chloe just had to check it out! Keith was done by the time I grabbed the camera but she stayed up there just in case he came back. Too cute!
