Valleyfair

Sorry for the lack of updates lately. I have lots of pics and stories to share... just need some free time to get them uploaded and written. =) Keith has been spending every free moment working on roofing (detached garage and machine shed) so I've been busy with the kids. Which is usually outside because they LOVE it out there. Morgan smiles and coos at the waving tree branches and Chloe and Jared are always up to something... usually getting dirty!

So anyway, here is a ton of pics from our awesome day at Valleyfair!

Tuesday, August 17th...

Jared is just barely tall enough (48" minimum) to ride almost all of the rides at Valleyfair so Keith and I took a day off to take him. We both haven't been there since we started dating so it was fun to go again! It was a perfect day for it... not too hot or cold. The sun was out and the crowds and lines were pretty decent.

Here we go! We took out the girls' carseat so we could ride together and watch a movie while Dad drove.

"OH MY GOSH!!! Is that it??? OH MY GOSH!!!"

Yep... that's it!!!

First ride of the day... he was so pumped that he got to drive!

Next... the big swings! Those things really go fast!

The hot-air balloon ride. This one made Keith a little woozie.

First roller coaster ride... High Roller... he picked the front car so I was a little nervous but he LOVED it!!!

Cooling off at the new wave pool. It's were the Flume used to be... Keith was pretty bummed that it was gone. That ride was so fun!

Water slides! Another favorite... probably cuz he could go on it by himself.

The bridge to the Power Tower... too bad we didn't realize he was too short until we were at the front of the line. =(

Our first train ride... all those years and we've never gotten on it.

And the best for last... we had to buy the picture from the Wild Thing. Jared's face is absolutely hilarious. Mostly because when we got off he said it was AWESOME!!! But the picture makes it seem like he's going to cry at any moment. Love it! And I'm not sure what Keith was doing... he obviously remembered the camera was gonna snap our pic. I was just having a good time by myself. =)

All in all, it was a great day and one that none of us will forget anytime soon! Jared is ready to go back ASAP. He said that he can't wait to take Chloe and Morgan. That might be a while... and Morgan might be tall enough before Chloe will be. Ha!
