Monday, March 28th... The bunk bed was
finally delivered! It was delayed due to the snow storm the week before so Jared was pretty bummed he had to wait. Even though it's for the girls, he decided that he was going to sleep on the top bunk. We aren't going to fight him on it. A few years from now he won't want to hang out with his sisters, let alone sleep on pink sheets with butterflies on them. Morgan is still in her crib so it's not like we need a spot for her right now anyway. The room is definitely at capacity with all of that furniture so it will be nice once we can get rid of the crib. I slept with Chloe on the bottom bunk last night so there were 4 of us in one room. Keith enjoyed a peaceful night to himself in our king size bed.
This is right after they were assembled.
More pics to come of the finsihed product.
Now I need to find some accesories (night table and lamps) to match.
I'm glad I went with the white instead of stained pine.
It's more girly and matches the room perfectly.
Next project is to fill the screw holes somehow so they don't stick out so much.
There are many kinds of bunk beds, and these bunk beds for kids can easily be used to enhance the look of their room.
